Direct Flights to Montenegro in 2024 – List of Airlines & Destinations

Last updated:

In 2024, the geography of direct flights to Montenegro’s airports has changed slightly. Let’s briefly review the changes in the flight map to Montenegro’s airports (Podgorica and Tivat) this season.

The number of flights to Podgorica Airport has not significantly changed, nor has the flight map. Among the main changes:

  • In 2024, the budget Turkish carrier Pegasus Airlines launched flights to Podgorica from three Turkish airports: Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir;
  • The local airline Air Montenegro began flying from Frankfurt (Germany) and Copenhagen (Denmark) and replaced the Hungarian airline Wizz Air on the Rome-Podgorica route;
  • In 2024, the Irish low-cost airline Ryanair ceased flights from Barcelona to Podgorica.

The number and geography of flights to Tivat Airport have also changed slightly. The main changes are as follows:

  • The number and geography of flights from Poland to Tivat have decreased, primarily due to the withdrawal of the Ukrainian airline SkyUp (only the flight from Rzeszów remains);
  • Two flights to Tivat from the United Kingdom have been added, from Birmingham and Bristol;
  • The local airline Air Montenegro has added several new routes to its schedule. It now flies to Tivat from Izmir (Turkey), Rennes (France), Saint-Étienne (France), and Metz (France);
  • One exotic route for Montenegro, Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), has disappeared from the schedule, but a new one has been added: Kuwait City (Kuwait).
